AZTAN is keen to participate annually in the East Africa International Arbitration Conference (EAIAC), a major regional event dedicated to strengthening alternative dispute resolution (ADR) capacity and fostering the development of arbitration across Africa.
AZTAN’s participation aims to contribute to the exchange of knowledge and best practices among African arbitration practitioners, while creating opportunities to build professional relationships, forge strategic partnerships, and enhance regional cooperation in the field of arbitration and ADR.
AZTAN presented a paper on addressing the growing trend of Asian investment and cross-border mergers and acquisitions across the African continent, and highlighting the associated legal, regulatory, and commercial considerations.
