Established in 1989, AZTAN Law Firm, is based in Khartoum -– Sudan. The office has earned a sound and well-built reputation for providing the highest quality of legal services in a wide range of substantive fields.

 Graduated from University of Khartoum in 1986, Mr. Hassabo is a co-founding Partner of Aztan Law Firm in 1989. specialists in business laws, cross-border investments, finance, telecommunication, and corporate matters.


Azhari Traifi

Mr. Traifi received his License de Droit, from Cairo University, Khartoum Branch 1986. Practicing Lawyer in Sudan since 1989. He is  is a co-founding Partner and Head of Litigation and Alternative Dispute Resolution Section since the establishment of Aztan.

Mr. Al Radi is stationed in Dubai and working full time with Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) as Contracts Expert, he provides consultation to AZTAN Law Firm on remote basis.

Osama Ahmed Ombada
Senior Partner
Head of Oil, gas and Mining Section

Advocate Osama is in charge of the Oil Section in AZTAN Law Firm.  Handling matters relating to the oil industry and projects. Member of AZTAN’s special assignments team. Have experience in local laws of Sudan and South Sudan.

Inaam Attiq


Head of Intellectual Property Section

Mrs. Inaam Attig received her LLB. from University of Khartoum, 1986, and her MSC in Intellectual Property from University of Khartoum 2005. She is a member of the International Bar Association.

Recent successes:

  • Enforcement of Rule of Justice by always standing up to protect the human rights in Sudan and defending the individuals of Sudanese revolution against the unjustified arrest and illegal detention and torture by the military government.
  • Provide legal assistance to the young entrepreneur’s initiative of Kaheela Project.

AZTAN created a website “invest-in-sudan.com” in support of the collaborative efforts of the revolutionary Government in promoting foreign investment in Sudan. The website is an informative platform for all investors and interested parties.
